Odyssey pioneers new directions in theatre art with innovative productions in the field of mask and movement. We explore the vibrant integration of text, music, dance, and fairground arts while reaching out to culturally diverse artists whose art forms enrich our work. Odyssey founder and Artistic Director Laurie Steven established the Company in 1986 and continues to be its driving force. Her artistic vision is supported by dynamic staff and an engaged board of directors.

Odyssey Theatre operates on the traditional, unceded Territory of the Algonquin, Anishnaabe peoples. We are grateful for the opportunity to perform here and to the generations of people who have taken care of this land – for thousands of years. Odyssey is currently delving into how to be the best guest on unceded Algonquin Territory and how to best acknowledge and honor this land and territory.
