Through our Play Creation program, we have been busy developing and encouraging new work, including:

• a workshop of the script for The Girl With No Hands
• 5 episodes of Season 2 of The Other Path Podcast
• three video scripts for The Digital World of Masks
• a new play by South African playwright Jacqui du Toit
• Laurie Steven’s residency with Ravibandu Vidyapathy and the Sri Lankan State Dance Company to develop a new draft of The Blue Demon
• a Canadian twist on the traditional Commedia dell’Arte play A Master of Two Servants by Michael Sobol
• a Commedia adaptation of The Berlin Blues by Drew Hayden Taylor
• We will jury applications and award 2026 grants to theatre creators through the Ontario Arts Council’s program
