Join our team this summer as we return to live performance and celebrate our 39th season as Ottawa’s premiere open-air theatre. Our Theatre Under the Stars series transforms Ottawa’s beautiful Strathcona Park into a theatre venue along the banks of the Rideau River that attracts thousands each year.
We are looking for a daytime Park Attendant to provide security during our summer production of The Girl With No Hands. The park Attendant provides on site presence at our stage in Strathcona Park. The park is located on the banks of the Rideau River in Sandy Hill close to downtown.
The Attendant is responsible to provide an on site presence when we are not in the park to protect the Theatre’s stage and equipment from vandalism or theft. In case of incident, they do not take any action other than to call the Theatre’s General Manager. They may also be asked to perform other duties on site such as painting, cleaning, minor repairs, etc.
Dates: July 21 – August 24, 2025
Duration: 5 weeks, up to 6 days/week, (20-40 hours per week)
Salary: $ 17.20/hour
Location: Strathcona Park (Laurier Avenue East at Range Road)
The successful candidate must:
- Be extremely dependable and responsible
- Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude;
- Ability to communicate positively with the public
- Have sound judgment
- Exercise tact and diplomacy
