Odyssey Theatre is looking for committed, enthusiastic students with a passion for the arts to join our company this as this summer’s Youth Apprentices.

The Youth Apprenticeship Program provides a unique opportunity for high school and university students to explore their creative interests and gain experience with a professional theatre company. Through specialized workshops and learning placements led by talented industry professionals, student receive hands-on training and mentorship in all aspects of theatre creation including performance, stage management, front of house, technical design and arts administration and marketing.

The Youth Apprenticeship Program is free of charge and anyone between the ages of 14-21 is eligible to apply. At the end of the summer, apprentices also receive an honorarium of up to $400 based on their commitment throughout the program.

The program takes place at Arts Court (2 Daly Ave) and Strathcona Park (Laurier Ave. E. at Range Rd.) and runs concurrently with Odyssey’s Theatre Under the Stars season from July 3-August 27, allowing students to partake in the entire production process.
